- Ready to use, non-stick formula intended for external welding system applications, will not cause porosity.
- Prevents adhesion of weld spatter, thereby freeing up spatter from the workpiece, tooling, nozzles and contact tips.
- XTRweld Tip Dip reduces and/or eliminates the need to wire brush or grind welded surface areas, saving production time.
- Simply dip parts such as MIG welding nozzle, tools, and contact tips into the wide mouth container for instant parts protection.
Applications
- Part of a complete work surface and nozzle tip protection system.
- Used in conjunction with the XTRweld family of anti-spatter products and pretreated welding wire lubrication pads, XTRweld Tip Dip outperforms wax-based methods by providing a highly refined, superior, petrolatum-based material.
Composition & Packaging
- XTRweld Tip Dip does not contain silicone or chlorinated solvents in the formula, is fully biodegradable, odorless, and environmentally safe.
- Does not contain materials that will act as primary skin irritants, skin sensitizers, or produce any other dermatosis.
- Does not contain ketones, aldehydes, or alcohols as components in the formulation.
- Product is non-toxic and nonflammable.
